Maeve Donohue

As President of Nami Studios, Maeve works closely with clients to determine what their goals are in order to develop the most effective plan for their unique situation. Maeve is responsible for the overall creative vision of the agency. In her roles, she oversees strategic planning, visual design, copywriting, and interaction design, working in close collaboration with all team members.

Maeve's background is extensive and diverse, spanning multiple marketing disciplines in the United States and abroad. She began her career as a fine artist after graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design, moved quickly into illustration/design/corporate identity and web development while living oversees, and then made the switch to advertising, working on both the traditional and interactive sides. Her clients have included Swarovski, Hasbro, and PBS. Her work as an executive administrative assistant and organizational consultant for companies such as Chase Manhattan and Travellers Group, among many others, spanned 15 years in both New York and Los Angeles.

She has owned and and operated several small businesses, is a trained Yoga and meditation instructor, and has always been passionate about using her variety of skills to empower special needs and underserved communities. She is currently an executive board member for Parent Partners, a non-profit organization based in Newport, RI which facilitates building life skills for younger low-income parents and their families.
